Robert Gene Brantley embodied the finest qualities of his profession through 19 years of service with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. A proud Navy veteran, Robert began his career in 1993 serving as a civilian firefighter with Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. During his career with LA County Fire, Robert was known for a positive “can do” attitude, and he was nicknamed “Yo” by his brothers and sisters at Station 105. Robert succumbed to the effects of job-related cancer in January 2018.
