Tony Killian was known for his hard work, dedication, laidback cool and his pranks, which kept everyone entertained at the firehouse. He spent four years in the Navy from 1977 to 1981, where he trained as a pharmacist’s mate and joined San Diego Fire Department in 1982 after he was discharged. His greatest joys in life were being a firefighter and a father to his daughter Erin. He succumbed to jobrelated esophageal cancer in 1999.
