Arreguin.Philip_Photo RESIZEDSince the age of 4, Philip Arreguin, Jr. wanted to be a firefighter, just like the ones he saw on the TV show “Emergency.” Philip made that dream a reality for 28 years with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. At home, he was a devoted husband and father, whose interests included music, cooking and reading, particularly books about fire departments, New York, history and world politics. He passed away from a heart attack while on active duty, doing the job that he loved.
