Donald Ban

Donald Ban loved the fire service and followed in his uncles’ footsteps into the fire department. He served the citizens of Sacramento with honor and distinction for nearly 30 years. He began his career with the Sacramento Fire Department in 1972 and was later promoted to the rank of engineer working as an apparatus operator. Donald enjoyed visiting car shows and loved nothing more than watching a Hawaiian sunset with his family. Donald succumbed to the effects of job-related cancer in August of 2018.
