Camp Pendleton Professional Firefighters Local F-85 is sad to announce that Firefighter Michael Lee of Engine Company 2, A-Shift, passed away unexpectedly on July 22.
Brother Lee collapsed suddenly while walking with his son near their home. He was 44 years old.
Firefighter Lee was an active participant in the Department Honor Guard, the San Diego Firemen’s Relief Association Memorial Stair climb and the Emerald Society. He also volunteered many hours to maintain and operate the Department’s vintage Seagrave ladder truck, which was his pride and joy. Mike was beloved by his fellow firefighters.
He is survived by his wife Diane, three sons, two daughters, his parents and three brothers.
